This is after the Reaper War. *I do support the Indoctrination Theory, by the way*. John Shepard has finally saved the galaxy for the third/3,000 time in his freaking life *universe better thank him*.

I used the default Solider/Sole Survivor/Earthborn to apply to both Shepards.
Childhood friend, Jane, has appeared suddenly in his life and John finds himself stumbling over his words. (Being a solider and making friends, and unknowingly created a family bond with everyone on the Normandy, he had a limited interaction with dating and romance, in my head-canon at least. XD)
So, Jane's in the Commander's room, studying for something. She falls asleep against her will, she was exhausted with helping rebuild the various towns and cities on Earth. I can't remember what she was reading.... but guess.
John comes in and hugs her from behind *LOL SHEPARD RAPE FACE!
But seriously folks, it's all innocent here. Ironically, he should be the one sleeping off the stress and complaints of the world.
Knowing Shepard, he's not going to give up saving the world.
